For reporters

Quote what AI leaders said, to the second.

Real Alpha cuts the minutes worth hearing from long interviews with the people building AI. Every moment has its own page: the words, checked against the transcript, who said them and what they do, the show, the date, and the video playing from that second. 596 moments so far, from 144 episodes of 41 shows.

How to cite a moment

On any moment's page, Quote copies the words with who said them and a link that plays the video from the quote. Paste it into a story or a newsletter and the link comes along. Embed gives you the same as plain HTML for your own site, with no script and no frame.

A citation, as Quote copies it

“three weeks in, there's a 40% chance that the user has shared a personal credit card with Instinct.”

— Noah Shinn, CEO of Instinct, on Invest Like the Best, Sep 2026, via Real Alpha

On an episode's page, every paragraph of the transcript links to its own second, and selecting a few lines offers Copy with link.

What you can use

  • Quote any moment, in part or in full, with a link to its page. You don't need to ask us.
  • The videos play in YouTube's player and belong to their shows. We never host a copy, so please don't download or re-upload them from here: link the moment, or the show's own video.
  • Transcripts are the show's own, or made by machine (Whisper) where a show publishes none, and each moment's page says which. Check a quote against the video before you print it.
  • The predictions ledger and its CSV are free to reuse under CC BY 4.0, credited “Real Alpha predictions ledger (realalpha.app/predictions)”.
  • Using the site means agreeing to our terms, YouTube's among them.

Follow new moments

Every moment we cut, in your feed reader: the quote first, then who said it and what they do, the show, the episode's date and the link to cite. A person's or a show's page names its feed too, so most readers find it from the page's own address.

Ask your AI assistant

Add Real Alpha to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant, then ask it what an AI leader said. It answers from our moments with their exact words, who they are, the show and the date, and the link that plays that second, ready to cite.

The address to add

https://realalpha.app/mcp

Claude

  1. In Claude on the web or the desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors, and choose + Add, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Real Alpha, paste the address and choose Continue twice. Under Authentication pick No sign in, then Add.
  3. In a chat, choose + at the lower left, then Connectors, and turn Real Alpha on.

Free plans can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an owner adds it first, then each member chooses Connect.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins, choose +, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Real Alpha, paste the address as the Server URL and pick No authentication. Confirm the warning and choose Create as a plugin.
  3. Open it in your personal plugins and choose + to install it. In a chat, type @ and pick Real Alpha.

On a workspace, an admin may need to allow plugins first.

Cursor, VS Code and other assistants are on the MCP server's page. Then ask in your own words, like:

  • “What has Jensen Huang said about AI demand? Give me the quotes and the links to cite.”
  • “Which AI leaders say AI is a bubble, and which say it isn't?”
  • “What did AI leaders say on podcasts this week?”
  • “Show me the transcript around that quote.”

It's free, it only reads, and it needs no account. As with anything you quote from us, check the words against the video before you print them.
